I have been teaching at DPMS since 2008. I also coach volleyball. I’ve had many jobs before I became a teacher, including serving in the Army and being a sign language interpreter in Green Bay for 13 years. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in education from UW-Superior and my Master’s Degree from UWGB in “Applied Leadership in Education.” My wife and I have four children and grandchildren. Our family likes to spend time together reading, biking, camping, and traveling.
I'm excited to be your child's science and social studies teacher at De Pere Middle School. In science class we will be studying life science, which in this biology course includes such topics as cells, genetics, human body systems, and ecosystems. In social studies class we will study history and cultures from around the world with a specific focus on the Eastern Hemisphere. This includes such empires as Mesopotamia, Egypt, China, India, Greece, & Rome.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you may have, and I look forward to working with you this year!
