On Tuesday April 28 and Thursday May 7, Aurora BayCare Sports Medicine will offer comprehensive student-athlete sports physicals from 5:30-7:30pm at De Pere High School for student currently in Grades 6-11. Appointments will be scheduled every 15 minutes, beginning at 5:30pm. The final appointments will be at 7:30pm. This will include a full health screening by a physician, a vision exam and evaluation for ACL injury risk. This physical will meet school and WIAA requirements for the current school year, as well as the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school years. A parent or guardian must accompany the athlete, or sign a parent consent form. The cost is $25, which will be donated by Aurora to De Pere athletics. To sign up your student-athlete for an appointment, contact DPHS athletics secretary Kerry Guyette at firstname.lastname@example.org, or 983-9174, ext. 4013.
For the next three weeks, Tuesday through Friday, students are encouraged to stop by the LMC during their recess to partake in fun activities related to our family book read, "Posted".
Along with Valentine's Day, it's National Organ Donation Day-- the perfect time to recognize a De Pere staff member who gave the ultimate gift.
An empowering movie about how screen time affects your student's physical, social and emotional development, followed by live Q and A with Dr. Tiffany Born
